Imagine transporting a cargo worth nearly 3 million dollars. The engine had to be delivered from Ireland to the Netherlands in perfect condition. From the very beginning, the client set very strict conditions: the transport had to be carried out in a dedicated mode, using a specialized frame to eliminate vibrations, with complete protection throughout the journey.

An insightful briefing – the key to success

Already at the planning stage, we knew this would be a transport requiring an unconventional approach: a special vibration-damping frame and a vehicle with pneumatic suspension.

As Tomasz Fabisiewicz, the Visline freight forwarder responsible for the project, points out: “Most standard vehicles do not have pneumatic suspension on the front axle – because it is not necessary on a daily basis. In this case, however, it was critical to prevent vibrations from being transferred to the cargo.”

A dedicated solution

After thorough consultations, we selected the ideal setup: a trailer with full pneumatic suspension on three axles, and a properly equipped tractor unit with pneumatic suspension on the front axle. For the task, we chose a driver specializing in the transport of sensitive cargo. Every element of this puzzle was crucial – from the equipment to the person behind the wheel.

The transport of the aircraft engine, which went smoothly without any disruptions

The engine, weighing approximately 2400 kg along with the frame, was transported in a dedicated mode, without any additional loads. The journey from Ireland to the Netherlands went according to plan – without any disruptions or unforeseen stops.

The client received exactly what they expected: a safe and timely transport of a crucial component for the aviation production process.
